Hi all, wasnt sure about the section the following post belongs in, so have put it here, because there is some information that may be relevant to all.

Tonight, I nipped into the FoW with my Warrior for my usual beach/spider cave solo with the aim of getting back some of the money ive dropped at festival ><.

This time however, having recieved my 'mini pet' just days ago, i decided to bring Jungle Troll Tim out for the run.

The run was as normal, with me getting 2 shards and full bags worth of shadow junk/gloom seeds.

Once I was sufficiently bored, i died, but on returning to Zin Ku, ALL MY PICK UPS WERE GONE!!

Including both the shards. I repeatedly opened the bags, even logged in and out again, but it seems all my loot was gone!

My only guess is possibly something to do with the presence of the mini pet?

Any ideas or help would be appreciated, or maybe you have had a similar occurence.

I've run with my jungle troll in the exact same place and haven't had the issue, so I'm not sure it would be that. I can't really say what happened, though. It's possible that the items did disappear. It's also possible that they might be in your inventory somewhere.

On topic though, it could possibly be a glitch in the system.

Did you send a support ticket in? That would probably be the best place to go! It could be a big glitch!

Or maybe you dreamed your FoW run? :P

hmm, was thinking about letting Anet know, wanted to check here first incase it was a known issue.

Thanks for rulling out the pet, thought Tim the Troll had quick fingers for a moment.

To 'Fiery', it says in the original post that bags were checked >< how else would i have known the stuff was missing!

They are also not in the my storage account.

I thought initally that Anet may have a system re-roll that i was unaware of. However, the fee i paid to enter FoW was not restored when I died, meaning it couldn't have been a time based roll back.

yeah I would send a report in. it may be related to the updates of the festivities recently. in the past things that seem completely unrelated to announced updates have been affected by them. this could be the case.

look at the bright side.. at least they didn't take away your mini-pet permanently like the n00bs that programmed the dragon arena..

by any chance are u on euro servers and was the run around the time of 12-12:30 (gmt+1) as there was a server problem around this time and many could not login. it maybe related to this

Yes I am on Euro servers, and I would estimate the run at around that time. Guess this is the most likely cause of the event.

Though in saying that, i logged in moments before embarking to the FoW and had no connection issues.

Also, my guess is Anet has a non-refund policy right?

The worrying thing is that I could have bought 5 Obsidian Armor peices, and lost those. Wonder what Anet's policy would have been then.

Just hope no one on am armor purchasing run suffers anything like that whilst the servers are perhaps playing up.

no hes saying that they have a non refund policy.. so if he got obsiden armor and it disappeared.. what would anet do then?

Yes they do have that kind of policy. Anything lost due to a game glitch cannot be returned or replace due to fraud. Also no way to prove it existed before the bug occured.

Yeah happened to me with my money once it wasnt a big loss i just bought 15k luxon armor and i had about 16 plat left. Well i logged of and helped my friend with a few quests and when i came back he had no money on him ><.
I checked every charecter and i only had 1k in the storage

There's another thread in riverside concerning it. Early on people who entered the Dragon Arena with pets lost them permanently. It was fixed shortly thereafter but the official statement issued was to the tune that the pets could not be recovered. A few people claim to have lost Black Widows in there among other pets.

Interesting...about 12-1am EST time, I had just gotten my Charmed title. I logged back on to find that the title was reset back to 46k and all the money I had bought the tickets with was in my inventory. I had several alliance people confirm that I indeed got it earlier that morning, and that I didnt just dream it.

. Oh well I got it back.

I had recently traded in faction for "amber" at Hzh the other day... 7k faction total. I didn't check my inventory while i was doing so, and hadn't tampered with any of the items in it either. Once done exchanging the faction, I took a peek at my inventory, and what did I have? Nothing but a single set of armor which i had bought earlier. No, I did not misplace the amber, nor trash/merch/trade it off. The exhchange was documented in my chat log as well. The period of time in betweeen the exchange and looking in my inventory was under a minute, if half of one. I've had this happen a total of three times, once in luxon territory, Cavalon to be precise.
